Position Summary Information

Essential Duties Summary

Responsible for assisting head teacher in the toddler class:

Work with Lead and Co-Teacher in toddler classroom. Work collaboratively with team to best serve needs to children in classroom. Work under supervision of Lead Teacher and Director.

Participate in documentation of child observation, including written observation records.

Research Duties:

Participate in research protocols, which may include completing questionnaires, assisting with toddler research paradigms, recording specific observations, and collecting research forms from parents.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Desire to work in a group setting;

Strong communication skills;

Ability to work on a team, and with students, parents and the public.

Required Qualification Summary

B.A. in Psychology, Education, or related field or equivalent, or nearing completion of Bachelor’s degree;

Minimum of 1 years experience working with young children;
